Green Energy Classes for Youth
In SUSTAIN workshops, we will educate youth on the importance of clean and reliable energy, how engineering allows for the improvement of energy technology, and why renewable energy is essential for a more sustainable future. The classes will be divided into two workshops: Wind Energy and Solar Energy.
Conserve Energy Campaigns
SUSTAIN is working to save energy at Tabb High School, the least energy efficient in the county, through proposing motion detector lights. After speaking with the York Facilities Manager and an Architect from RRMM SUSTAIN is ready to push for motion detecting technology and renovations to lower the carbon footprint of Tabb.
Speak up for Sustainable Energy
Proposed energy advocacy initiative to educate youth on the importance of renewable energy for the future. There will be an energy conservation station at the York County Halloween Bash on October 16th at the McReynolds Athletic Complex
Our Approach
SUSTAIN is an organization devoted to educating youth in a hands-on way about sustainable energy, ways to conserve energy, and actions that can be taken to promote and inspire a greener environment.
